Gwyneth Paltrow Countersues Ski-Accident Man For A Symbolic $1
According to a report from Reuters, on Wednesday, the Hollywood actress and Goop founder, Gwyneth Paltrow, countersued a retired doctor who filed a lawsuit against her over an incident that left him seriously injured on a ski slope three years ago in 2016.
Reportedly, Gwyneth and the 72-year-old man, Terry Sanderson, ran into each other on a ski slope in Utah. The incident left him badly injured, but Paltrow states that he said he was fine and they both continued on their way as normal.
Paltrow is now counter-suing the man for trying to exploit her fame and fortune. The 46-year-old Hollywood star, similar to Taylor Swift, counter-sued Mr. Sanderson for a symbolic $1 – a way of stating that it’s obviously not about the money.

The incident in question supposedly occurred on the 26th of February, 2016, at the Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah. Her attorneys-at-law wrote in their statement that Sanderson collided into her and then “nonetheless blamed her for it in an attempt to exploit her celebrity and wealth.”
At a news conference in Salt Lake City last month, Sanderson revealed his intention to sue Gwyneth, claiming that he heard a “hysterical scream” before Gwyneth ran into him. Before he could turn around, Gwyneth allegedly had struck him in the back between his shoulder blades, causing a serious injury.
As a result of the crash, the retired eye doctor, who apparently has approximately 30 years of skiing under his belt, said he suffered four broken ribs as well as a brain injury.
He now suffers from short-term memory loss, and Sanderson claimed the actress left the scene quickly without saying a word. In Paltrow’s side of the story, following the incident, she asked him if he was ok after he ran into her, and Sanderson assured the actress he was completely fine.

This won’t be the only negative publicity Gwyneth Paltrow has gotten in recent years.
