Uster was close to everyone, and due to his tragic death, everyone was left shattered, including his mother, who said her son was a bicycling advocate.
As mentioned earlier, he was also a longtime member of Transportation Alternatives, a non-profit organization in New York City.
Adam Uster Accident: Cycling Advocate Killed by Trucker
Adam Uster got into an accident that took his life away. He was killed while going home on a cycle from a Brooklyn grocery store on a dangerous street.
Adam was heading home from Wegmans with his cycle trailer filled with groceries. Reportedly, Uster was set to host a dinner with his wife for friends and neighbors on Friday.
Unfortunately, Adam was struck by the driver of a flatbed truck at the junction of Franklin Avenue and Lexington Avenue. The accident happened at around 11:30 am.
Reportedly, Adam was going southbound in the bike lane on Franklin Avenue when the trucker turned onto Lexington Avenue, smashing the cyclist.
Following that, Uster was rushed to New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital but was not saved.

Adam Uster Death and Obituary
Adam Uster died at the age of 39 as a trucker struck him. When the obituary was released, his family and friends were stunned.
Adam was about a mile-and-a-half from home when he was struck. Many people have paid tribute to him, and the devasted family is heavily receiving condolence messages.
As said earlier, Uster was a member of Transportation Alternatives, and the non-profit organization has also paid tribute to the late soul. Transportation Alternatives wrote,
“We are devastated to learn that Adam Uster — a longtime biker, community member, and TA member — was killed by a truck driver in Brooklyn. We demand immediate action from our leaders to keep New Yorkers safe.”
The truck driver of the flatbed truck stayed at the scene following the accident, but no charges were immediately filed. However, the investigation is going on, and more details will be updated soon.

Who Was Adam Uster? Family Details
Adam Uster was a 39-year-old cycling advocate from Brooklyn. He was a family person who used to spend most of his spare time with them.
Meanwhile, Uster is also a married man, and his wife Frederique is also mourning her husband’s death. Adam and his wife were also big supporters of the organization and gave their best during the whole biking movement.
His mother, Annie Goldner, has also talked about her son in the media. Annie said her son had a passion for photography. When Adam wasn’t working his day job as a construction consultant., Uster used to take photographs.
Adam and his wife reportedly have two daughters named Erika and Marceline. Adam’s mother also revealed that the family was scheduled to ride the Five Boro Bike Tour on Sunday.
